The superior function of the magazine was validated during three separate tests of the L85/L86 with the British MoD in arctic, jungle, and desert environments during the firing of more than 1/2 million rounds. The HK High-Reliability 30-Round Steel Magazine features a well executed design, select materials, special anti-friction surface finish, advanced spring material, attention to production tolerances, and steel magazine housing and follower.
