Developed over a decade ago by our friend Ashley Burnsed when he determined that the the CAR-15 should have a sling attachment point at the rear of the receiver in a position similar to the loop found on the MP5-A3. The first Burnsed Loop was an old QD Sling Swivel which Burnsed sliced and welded onto a receiver end plate then hand polished with a file to eliminate any burs or rough edges which could abraid the weapon sling. Daniel Defense faithfully carries on the spirit of that original design by paying attention to the little details that others deem insignificant.

• Fully radiused edges, inside and out to prevent fraying of your sling or your hands
• A properly posisitioned Loop: High Enough to allow proper manipulation of the safety and yet low enough to keep the meat on your knuckles when performing high speed drills
