The SOC-C Releasable Vest Sling (SOC-C-RVS) was designed from the ground up to integrate with the CIRAS vest system made by Eagle Industries. The sling becomes a component of the releasable mechanism and allows the weapon to instantly and reliably release from the vest when the cut-away pillow is pulled. It also eliminates two other common problems with vest mounted sling systems; 1) It uses a strap that comes over the shoulder and connects low in the back allowing the weight of a loaded weapon to be spread out over a larger area. 2) It doesn't pull the front of the vest down and reduce your armor coverage like slings that attach on or near the shoulder strap. Included in the price of the sling is one of our female fastex adapters. The sling is also fully compatible with any other female adapters in our SOC-C Modular Sling System including those found in our Contractor Pak.TM

The EMOD is based on the same rugged and practical design as the original Vltor Modstock - with specific features designed from lessons taken from the modern battlefield.
The EMOD is about one inch longer than the original Modstock and with the rubber butt plate installed, is about a quarter of an inch longer than the CRANE SCB. The increased length of the EMOD is a major benefit when used on scoped rifles (SPR/DMR), as it increases the available comb for any given length of pull.
